GotNews.com editor-in-chief Charles C. Johnson has been suspended from Facebook for three days for posting the following item.
The full post is as follows:
I know this isn’t politically correct but wouldn’t [sic] make more sense tactically to do a mass shooting of highly gifted kids instead of autistic children? Or is the strategy such that even your — shall we say, less abled? — kids aren’t safe and therefore no one is? Or is it really just as simple as Muslims hate Christians and Jews loving the holiday party?
Johnson used Facebook to break the news that Senator Lindsey Graham has a married male lover, that Scott Walker would drop out of the presidential race, that Marco Rubio has a mistress, and that the terrorist attack several days ago was Muslims.
Facebook, like Twitter, apparently has a censorship problem. We saw this earlier when GotNews.com’s editor-in-chief was suspended for doing journalism about a State Department official using Ashley Madison. GotNews.com’s Facebook account was deleted with all 1500 likes eradicated though we were later allowed to create a new account.
This is all the more reason that new platforms needed to be created that displace Facebook and Twitter and for new laws and regulations to be passed protecting free speech on these sorts of platforms.
We’ve reached out to the people at Facebook who helped give us access last time and hope the situation can resolve itself.
