Police incident reports say Tetrick was charged with “simple assault and harrassment” under “domestic violence statute” in 1998:
His mother had charged that Joshua had attempted “by physical menace to put another in fear of imminent serious bodily injury.”
That assault charge followed a 1996 “domestic problem” when mother and son Joshua Tetrick both admitted to “mutual physical contact”:
Tetrick got his records expunged from court records – but we filed for the police reports. Aside from being under investigation by the Feds for fraud and sleeping with his own female employees, Josh Tetrick is most famous for spending $200,000 from an undisclosed source on massive sanctimonious anti-Trump ads in The New York Times and Cleveland’s Plain Dealer.
His ad/open letter included this:
A single mom in Birmingham who taught her son how to rise while respecting women. The Toledo autoworkers fighting to protect the jobs of their immigrant brothers. And the families of faith in Little Rock who believe in lowering taxes without lowering their values.
This is who we are. And this is why your campaign will break down.
Your campaign doesn’t just seem wrong. It feels un-American. To support it would make me less of myself, less of my grandpa’s grandson, less of my mom’s son.
Of course Josh Tetrick thinks he’s on a fake feminist soapbox 24/7!
Maybe someone who assaults their own mother and sleeps with their own female employees shouldn’t be spending $200,000 on hypocritical ads while their company is failing and under federal investigation for fraud.
Just a thought!
Tetrick also published a passive aggressive ad/open letter in The New York Times to his mom, whining that she malnourished him:
I’d bolt off the bus at 3:11pm, and you’d always have something waiting for me. Some fried chicken. Butter with a biscuit. Brownie Bites. And you’d spend all day cutting hair, just so I could have a dollar to buy a vending machine cinnamon roll or Skittles with lunch the next day.
You did this because you love me. You did this because you’re my mom. You did this because, well, I was always hungry.
And if we’re being real with each other, most of that delicious and inexpensive food probably had too much sodium or sugar or cholesterol — and was often rough on our planet.
And if we’re still being real with each other, it would have been different if we had money. We would’ve had organic chard instead of greasy chips. Maybe some whole grains instead of so many damn Gobstoppers. We’d have eaten healthier, cleaner meals together. That’s probably the case for most families, too.
The right thing should be the easiest thing for a single mom working at a hair salon trying to raise two sons.
He passively aggressively whined about his mother in a speech at the 2015 Cornell Eship Summit.
Let’s remember how Donald Trump, who Joshua Tetrick thinks is an anti-woman nutjob, treats his mother:

Great advice from my mother: “Trust in God and be true to yourself.” – Mary MacLeod Trump

Who’s the real anti-woman nutjob here, Joshua Tetrick?
Oh, and the best part?
Joshua Tetrick was an intern for sex maniac and rapist Bill Clinton, according to his LinkedIn:
The cycle of abuse continues!
UPDATE 10/26/2016: Josh Tetrick’s mother Merle Tetrick told GotNews in a statement:
Josh never was abusive towards me, nor did he ever assault me.
Like most parents and teenagers that I know, we had our moments of disagreement. And, these disagreements got heated at times – on both sides. Again, this is not uncommon in my experience between teenagers and their parents. In the first instance, we were in heated “discussions” over a subject neither of us can remember. I may have grounded him or something; again I don’t recall. I then went into my bedroom and refused to continue the discussion. He wanted to continue and tried to get into the room to do so. Again, there was never any physical violence. In my anger and frustration I called the police. Had I to do it over again, I would not have done so.
In the second instance you cite, Josh never struck me. He never assaulted me. In my anger, again I called the police. It is a decision I have regretted ever since.
Josh is and has always been a loving, caring son. We never had it easy financially, but we were and remain a close family.
