Berkeley, California police took into custody “Bike Lock Man” Eric Clanton on Wednesday on multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The arrest comes in the wake of an April 20th GotNews report on antifa terrorist attacks in Berkeley. GotNews’ report was among earliest to compile findings of independent investigators identifying taxpayer-funded anarcho-communist academic Clanton as the culprit in multiple murder attempts on April 15th.
Users of the websites 4chan and 8chan left no stone unturned to bring down the felony suspect, analyzing his dating profile, social media presence, and scouring hours of video from a Berkeley anti-Trump riot, to pick out this enemy of freedom.
According to the East Bay Times:
Eric Clanton remained in custody in lieu of $200,000 bail at Berkeley Jail on Thursday and will be arraigned Friday morning at 9 a.m. at Oakland’s Wiley W. Manuel courthouse. He was arrested on suspicion of use of a firearm during a felony with an enhancement clause and assault with a non-firearm deadly weapon.
Contra Costa County Community College paid Clanton nearly $20,000 last year to shape the minds of youth as a philosophy professor, according to documents on Transparent California.
Marxist scumbag Clanton didn’t make apprehending him easy. He buried his Facebook and Twitter pages. Police had to pick him up at an unusual address, reports the newspaper Berkeleyside:
Berkeley Police Capt. Ed Spiller told Berkeleyside on Wednesday that Clanton was not at home in San Leandro when officers served their search warrant Wednesday morning, so investigators with the BPD homicide detail, the team responsible for the case, had to track him down at a location in Oakland. Clanton was then taken into custody without incident.
