Politico took a shot at GotNews Wednesday while reporting White House chief of staff John Kelly wants to cut off President Donald Trump from critical news sources.
Fearful of independent media doing its part to drain the swamp, the establishment blog calls revealing ousted Reince Priebus loyalist Katie Walsh and press secretary senior assistant Michael Short as leakers “dubious” reporting:
[Trump] has been given information of dubious quality, from stories by GotNews.com, a blog written by a right-wing provocateur named Chuck Johnson to segments of debunked documentaries.
GotNews is two-for-two when it comes to ripping the mask off White House staffers dishing dirt to fake news.
Who informed the president he had backstabbing staff in his midst leaking to the opposition media? None other than lovely First Lady Melania Trump, who gave her husband a copy of an article correctly identifying Walsh as a secret source for Maggie Haberman and monopolist Jeff Bezo’s AmazonWashingtonPost.
In another article libeling GotNews, Jeremy W. Peters reported the article exposing Walsh “was shown to him by his wife, according to one person with knowledge of the encounter.” Priebus had sounded the alarm to the failing New York Times. Say hi to Walsh for us, Reince.
Hostile Deep State actors want to drag GotNews editor-in-chief Charles Johnson before a closed Senate session for interrogation about the fakes news narrative of “Russian interference.” Johnson demands a public hearing, which even in the “Land of the Free” requires significant resources.
Politico’s smear is not an offhand swipe.
