There are multiple sexual harassment allegations against Representative John Conyers from women who have not entered settlements and signed NDAs, according to a source close to Conyers.
Yesterday, journalist and documentary filmmaker Mike Cernovich released a bombshell report alleging that Democrat Congressman John Conyers — who is the longest-serving member of the current Congress, and therefore the Dean of the United States House of Representatives — is a serial sexual predator. Cernovich also revealed to Buzzfeed News that Congress has covered up repeated sexual abuse by Conyers and other lawmakers, using taxpayer money to secretly buy victims’ silence.
A source close to Conyers told GotNews today that there are “multiple other women who have been sexually harassed by Conyers in recent years” and never formally filed complaints, and thus who have no legal obligation preventing them from telling their stories. The source also confirmed that at least one of them is currently considering talking to news organizations about her encounter with Conyers.
It remains to be seen whether these women will come forward and tell their stories publicly. There is now a combined $20,000 reward offered by GotNews Editor-In-Chief Charles C. Johnson and Cernovich for sexual harassment settlement details implicating a sitting United States Congressman. It is also unclear whether the Congressman, first elected in 1964, will resign.
