A never before seen video confirms that Tamerlan Tsarnaev attended radical Boston mosque whose guest preacher was banned from leaving Morocco for threatening to kill journalists for defending sex out of wedlock.
The imam also called for attacks against the U.S., according to MEMRI.
Tamerlan can be been listening to the radical imam on video here. (Do you speak Arabic? Please help us translate it!)
Today saw closing arguments in the case against his brother, Dzhokar Tsarnaev, in a terrorism trial over the marathon bombing of 2013.
The video appears to be the Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev attending The American Muslim Center in Boston during Ramadan 2012, listening to a radical Moroccan Sheik Abdallah Al-Nhari (Sheikh Abdellah Nhari).
Moroccan Sheik Abdallah Al-Nhari (Sheikh Abdellah Nhari) has a radical history, according to Memri.
Moroccan cleric ‘Abdallah Al-Nhari, a guest speaker at the American Muslim Center in Massachusetts, recently sanctioned the killing of a Moroccan journalist who supported the right to engage in sex out of wedlock. In a June 22, 2012 interview with Mayadeen TV, Mokhtar Laghzioui, editor-in-chief of the Al-Ahdath newspaper, had said that: “the freedom of every being on the face of this Earth should be respected,” adding: ” I accept that my sister, my mother, or my daughter may exercise their liberties as they see fit.”
A few days later, in a video-clip posted on the Internet on June 28, Al-Nhari mocked the interview, saying: “Whoever has no zeal – kill him. A dayouth [one who is not jealous for his womenfolk] is denied entrance to Paradise.” On July 1, Al-Nhari was investigated by the Moroccan authorities for these statements and was forbidden to travel out of Morocco.
This is not the first time that Al-Nhari has made radical statements. On September 2, 2005, Al-Nhari issued a scathing attack on the U.S., calling upon Allah to “defeat the tyrannical and oppressive soldiers of America and its allies… [and] drown them in the Land of the Two Rivers [Iraq]…” He prayed to Allah to “sink them further into the quagmire of Iraq” and to “turn Iraq into a nail in the coffin of American tyranny.”
Al-Nhari was invited to spend the month of Ramadan in Everett, Massachusetts, where he is guest speaker at the American Muslim Center.
Here is Al-Nhari discussing the death of Libyan tyrant Moammr al Qadhafi.
Among other things Nhari was investigated for incitement for violence by Moroccan authorities and banned from leaving the country on July 1 2012, yet he came to the US weeks later for the month of Ramadan.
Here’s video of Kat Tsarnaev discussing how close the radical mosque is to the terrorists’ home.
