Bush loyalist and Office of Presidential Personnel (PPO) Associate Director Jana Toner – who reportedly used her influential position in the Trump Administration to block pro-Trump employees – is moving to become Second Lady Karen Pence’s Chief of Staff.
Karen Pence announced the move this past week in a press release, which praised Toner as a “highly-experience professional who possesses dynamic leadership skills.” The Vice President’s wife also said she is confident that “[Toner] will continue to serve with great dedication and integrity.”:

The Second Lady’s former Chief of Staff, Kristan King Nevins, is leaving for the office of anti-Trump Congressman Will Hurd (R-TX).
Toner’s move follows conservative journalist Jack Posobiec’s report from August, which detailed Toner’s efforts to obstruct the President’s agenda and block pro-Trump employees – even all the way down to the intern level. Posobiec also reported that “President Trump’s new Chief of Staff, retired General John Kelly, is eyeing a significant White House shakeup, and PPO is one of the areas he is focusing on specifically.”
