Liberal activist “comedian” Kathy Griffin—on Tuesday showing the world a vulgar photo of herself with a bloody mock-up of President Donald J. Trump’s severed head—sexually assaulted CNN co-host Anderson Cooper live on air in 2013 and in 2007 called the Catholic Church “stupid” and disgustingly called on its deity Jesus Christ to “Suck it” at the 2007 Emmy Awards.
In a remarkably unfunny and cringe-worthy “comedy” performance covering New Year’s Eve in New York in the early morning of 2013, Griffin groped the groin of Cooper—further attempted to force-kiss him, and tried to mime performing oral sex on Cooper, who awkwardly had to physically resist her the whole time and is gay.
“I’m going down. You know you want to,” said Griffin to Cooper, lowering her head to his groin.
“Believe me, I really don’t,” said Cooper.
Accepting a statue at the 2007 Emmy Awards, Griffin “joked” to a decadent, chuckling Hollywood crowd that she wouldn’t thank God; instead, she yelled “Suck it, Jesus! This award is my god now!”
The Emmy-presenting Academy of Television Arts & Sciences condemned Griffin and refused to air her blasphemous remarks in taped runs of the show.
Griffin’s publicist tried to limit the damage done by releasing a statement from her: “Am I the only Catholic left with a sense of humour?”—a lie, as Griffin has said for years she’s not religious at all and is an atheist.
According to the Catholic League, which decried Griffin’s insult to their faith:
In a June interview with OutSmart, Houston’s gay magazine, Griffin described herself as a “complete militant atheist” and said that the Catholic Church is “stupid.” No wonder she told the Los Angeles Times she hoped people were offended by her obscene verbal assault; this was right after she said it.
Griffin’s proudly displaying President Trump’s severed head is earning her condemnations from across the political spectrum—with even Hillary Clinton daughter Chelsea tweeting, “It is never funny to joke about killing a president.”
This is vile and wrong. It is never funny to joke about killing a president. https://t.co/zIiuKoMyFw

Since the release of the Trump shoot with photographer Tyler Shields, Griffin is doubling down on their veiled threat, calling it an “expression of art.”
1. Just spoke with @kathygriffin . She said, unapologetically, that the image of her that's gone viral is an expression of art
