GotNews.com had its lawsuit against Gawker media for defamation thrown out of a Missouri court today.

We haven’t yet decided whether or not to appeal that Clinton-appointed federal judge’s ruling.
We haven’t yet decided whether or not to continuing pursuing legal action in California where GotNews.com is based.
We’ve spent very little money on the suit to date and aren’t sure yet whether or not to spend more.
Or whether or not there will even be a Gawker by the time it finally goes to trial.

This might be an example of where you win in the court of public opinion but not in the courts. Oh well.
What has been fascinating is watching the media reporters say that my career is over, that Gawker won, etc., etc.
Here’s BuzzFeed, a.k.a. the cat pornography website.
Here’s the Los Angeles Times. (Even DeRay the Gay McKesson retweeted that!)
Chuck Johnson's lawsuit against Gawker in Missouri thrown out because neither Chuck nor Gawker are in Missouri. https://t.co/HuIB8bkjVS

Here’s Twitter’s policy hack.
“blogger Charles C. Johnson, who lives in California, failed to meet the “minimal” burden of proof required …” https://t.co/uKwPm63Ism

Hmmmm… What’s my next move? Stay tuned.
I’ve predicted Gawker will cease to exist by October of next year.
I’m betting I’ll be around longer than Gawker is.
Everything is going according to plan.
