A man from Washington, DC plead guilty to assaulting journalist and conservative political activist Jack Posobiec today.
On April 23rd, 24-year-old Sydney Ramsey-LaRee was arrested for assaulting Posobiec while he was filming a DC Anti-Fascist Coalition gathering. Posobiec was recording the far-left group’s community outreach demonstration, in which various DC Antifa leaders were attempting to recruit new members.
After several Antifa members called Posobiec a Nazi, LaRee decided to take matters into his own hands and punch Posobiec’s camera. He was quickly arrested by George Washington University police and subsequently charged with simple assault:

“It does not surprise me that the Antifa member plead guilty in the face of overwhelming evidence,” Posobiec told GotNews. “This conviction is a victory for the First Amendment, as well as a victory against political violence.”
Posobiec noted that Antifa apparently gave up on the case. “No Antifa even cared enough to show up here protesting outside for their twisted view of justice,” Posobiec said, “because justice was serviced inside the court.”:
According to Posobiec, LaRee’s lawyer conceded that the veteran intelligence officer is not a Nazi during his client’s court proceedings.
