Does Donald Trump Remember Mississippi? Reince’s & Barbour’s NRSC paid for race-baiting ads, Cochran bought black votes to destroy McDaniel.
Written by Noel Fritsch.
Back in 2014, Reince Priebus and the Chamber of Commerce were gearing up for their war against conservatives. They used Chris McDaniel as their piñata.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and Barbour Klan aimed multiple race-baiting advertising schemes squarely at McDaniel in an effort to disenfranchise the grassroots in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate.
RNC Chair Reince Priebus, it’s worth remembering, is a Barbour installation atop the Republican Party.
Cochran was in real trouble in a runoff against McDaniel, so unless they found a massive pile of votes, the four decade fixture on Capitol Hill would’ve been sent out to pasture.
That’s exactly what they did.
The Cochran camp and its misleadingly named super PAC called Mississippi Conservatives set out to destroy McDaniel’s reputation among blacks by claiming McDaniel would set back race relations and undo everything Barack Obama had done.
CBS reported that not only did the Party engage in race baiting, Haley Barbour’s groups paid for race baiting strategy.
Erick Erickson writing for RedState also reported the Republican Party paid for the ads.
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) nodded his head toward Cochran and the National Republican Senatorial Committee dropped $820,000 into Cochran’s campaign account.
That money, raised from conservatives and Republicans who had given to the Republican Party in hope of advancing conservatism, was then used to sow seeds of racial division and assassinate the character of conservative political outsider Chris McDaniel, one of the very few “NO” votes to Haley Barbour’s endless gravy train of government spending and graft in Jackson, Mississippi.
Even the New York Times admitted Cochran’s cynical play to keep power.
Henry Barbour, undoubtedly at the behest of his uncle Haley, former Mississippi Governor and RNC Chair, was at the center of the deplorable race baiting scheme. Henry later worked furiously to dodge the charges of race baiting.
Henry Barbour, it’s worth remembering, is the National Committeeman from Mississippi and member of the Republican National Committee.
So egregious was Henry Barbour’s behavior, RNC member Ed Martin introduced a motion to censure Henry Barbour at the August 2014 RNC convention in Chicago.
But the RNC chose not to censure Barbour for his sins.
Despite personally bringing all this shame upon the Republican Party, Henry still proclaims that Reince is the “best RNC Chairman we’ve ever had.” Perhaps it had something to do with his avoiding censure.
So why does this matter?
Donald Trump endorsed Chris McDaniel ahead of the runoff, citing his intelligence, and desire to change things.
I hope voters in Mississippi cast their ballot for @senatormcdaniel. He is strong, he is smart & he wants things to change in Washington.

Now President-elect Trump had even cheered McDaniel on in the immediate aftermath of the initial election on June 3, saying a McDaniel win was great news, and a big win for the Tea Party.
Chris McDaniel looks like he will win in Mississippi – GREAT NEWS and big victory for Tea Party!

Now, after Reince and the Barbours weaseled their way into the Trump campaign, it appears Reince may be on the short list to work as Trump’s Chief of Staff.
Reince Priebus is a man who is wholly owned by the Barbour Klan. He is obviously one hundred percent willing to destroy good conservative Republicans if it means he and his ilk keep power.
He should be nowhere near the White House.
Stay tuned for more.
