Here are the facts: Bianna Golodryga is biased and displays a neurotic anti-Russian obsession befitting her Jewish and Moldovan heritage.
Don’t take our word for it. Take the word of her husband Pete Orszag who married Golodryga right after knocking up and then scandalously abandoning a Greek heiress. The “attraction” for Orszag was, as The New York Times wrote, that “she’s a Russian Jew who gets up earlier than I do.”
In fact Golodryga is a Moldovan-Russian Jew. It’s a big part of her identity. You can even watch a Good Morning America segment on it:
The Rohrabacher-Golodryga exchange reveals quite a bit about our Russophobic media which credulously and breathlessly repeats the claim — without any evidence — that Russia was interfering in America’s presidential election.
Golodryga is a perfect example of this absurd Russophobia:
I'd like to believe that aside from promising to improve ties with Putin, Trump also raised concerns over cyber security. I doubt it though

Yet another reason for Putin to celebrate. His candidate looks likely to win. Personally I'm rooting for Maia, name bias aside. https://t.co/cD3jQQX8hN

She had anti-Russian activists on her show:

You can go over and read all her obsessive anti-Putin, anti-Russian tweets and how she encourages Russophobic hysteria.
But how do I know that the media will print anything about Russia’s influence?
I have deliberately fooled it.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, I instructed the pro-Trump troll army I had built to use VPNs based in Russia just to mess with the technologically illiterate intelligence services. Before long, we were finding reports in the press of the operations we ran being linked to Russia based solely upon a spoofed VPN.
This wasn’t too surprising. This site once broke the story of how North Korea wasn’t hacking Sony so forgive us if we don’t totally buy the so-called intelligence sources claiming Russian involvement.
Now the latest talking point is that seventeen intelligence agencies think Russia is interfering in our election.
Are these the very same “intelligence” [sic] agencies that got the Iraq War intel wrong?
There are very serious problems with the so-called atrocity figures coming out of Syria:
Nassim Taleb Rages At The Bullshit Statistics Of War In Syria https://t.co/vypx0wJ1tf
— zerohedge (@zerohedge) November 23, 2016
Taleb points out that the U.S. State Department is more-or-less making up the numbers of atrocities that the Russians have supposedly inflicted.
You can see that for yourself here:
US State Dept believes Russia recently bombed 5 hospitals in Syria. Can't name them, locate them or even say in which cities. pic.twitter.com/SMSQeaAapF

President-elect Donald J. Trump, to his credit, discounts some of this anti-Russian propaganda — at least if this statement made in Grand Rapids, Michigan is to be believed:
This was such a remarkable riff from Trump on 12-21-15 in Grand Rapids, on Putin and killing journalists: pic.twitter.com/VRBMulKu3i

Why is there a push lately against Russia?

Golodryga moved to the U.S. when she was a child from Moldova — then a part of the Soviet Union — which is a country with really strained relations with Russia over, among other things, the disputed territory of Transnistria. The strained relationship between Russia and Russian Jews goes back centuries.
Like a lot of Russian Jews, particularly the children of refuseniks — people denied emigration from the Soviet Union — she has not exactly been neutral.
She should not be covering Russia, Putin, or any Russia-related topics on the news as her on-air biased, emotional reactions prove.
Stay tuned for more.
