Gotnews.com has a question for all of the would be internet researchers out there: Who is Hillary Clinton’s IT guy?
The question is based on a tip from a technology expert who sent the following message to us:
Microsoft Exchange Server is a complicated suite of business productivity tools that is not trivial to set up or manage.
Whenever I hear people talking about it as “an email server”, like in the case of the IRS and Lois Lerner, reporters act as if it is a box that sits in the corner. It’s like saying that an F-18 is a plane that a pilot just jumps in whenever he wants to fly.
Like aircraft, Exchange servers require dedicated maintenance that is always watching them to make sure that they are secure and maintained functionally. That means applying software patches, setting up best-practices for hard drive allocation, memory and routine back-ups.
That means that people are touching and interacting with those machines all the time.
Microsoft Exchange Engineers are certified, which means they get trained and are presented with a certificate with expertise in particular software/hardware configurations called MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer).
So whomever set up HRC’s Exchange box was a MCSE.
So if you are looking for clues/angles/tips, you should be looking for people not technology… like people in Chappaqua with an MCSE…
