Governor Sam Brownback was not given notice that the Ebola waste was being sent to Kansas, Gotnews.com has learned.
Brownback received notice that the Ebola waste from Dallas had been in Kansas after it was burned.
Brown had the health and environmental department put a stop to it, a tipster told Gotnews.com. Brownback declared the waste to be hazardous ware under Kansas law. Stericycle is not authorized to receive or treat “hazardous waste”– only medical waste.
Gotnews.com had previously reported on the waste entering earlier.
