American Bridge, the far-left group founded by Clinton insider David Brock that failed to disclose on its 2016 tax return the $200,000 it spent on arranging for women to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, has previously smeared Trump for his alleged “shady tax records” and “disclosure errors.”
In a January 18th, 2017 statement condemning Trump’s nominee for OMB Director, Mick Mulvaney, for once neglecting to pay $15,000 in payroll taxes, American Bridge wrote that the revelation “adds Mulvaney to a growing list of Trump Administration figures (and nominees) including Trump, himself, and Betsy DeVos, who have shady tax records, disclosure errors, or simply a refusal to release their tax returns.”:
Similarly, the progressive group published a post titled “Trump Dodges Transparency Just Like He Dodges Paying Taxes” six days before the election:

It remains to be seen whether American Bridge’s failure to disclose its $200,000 payment to the Bloom Firm on its 2016 tax returns will result in any consequences.
