A bombshell story from The New York Times’ Ken Vogel yesterday confirmed GotNews Editor-in-Chief Charles C. Johnson’s scoop from November 3rd, 2016: former “Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos and other women making sexual misconduct allegations against then-candidate Donald Trump had over $500,000 funneled to them by Democrat insiders.
The Times piece, titled “Partisans, Wielding Money, Begin Seeking to Exploit Harassment Claims,” documents how both Gloria Allred and her daughter, Lisa Bloom – armed with big money from Democrat donors – sought to weaponize accusations against Trump.
According to the Times, Allred is currently raising money to fund Zervos’ ongoing lawsuit against Trump, and “has personally solicited donations from influential Democrats,” including Media Matters founder and left-wing operative David Brock.
Bloom, on the other hand, “seized on the political potency of sexual harassment charges against Mr. Trump not long after he clinched the Republican presidential nomination” and reached out to an unspecified pro-Clinton Super PAC for funding to help her “vet” an accusation against Trump.
After that case fell apart, Bloom worked with other women who were potentially willing to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct, and asked donors for “funds for security, relocation and possibly a ‘safe house,'” according to Vogel’s report.
Furthermore, Vogel’s Democrat sources identified two major donors who financially supported Bloom’s effort: a left-wing nonprofit affiliated with Brock gave $200,000, and Clinton insider Susie Tompkins Buell donated a whopping $500,000.
This shocking report from The New York times discredits the left-wing “fact-checking” website Snopes, which called GotNews’ original report on the matter “unproven” and attacked GotNews’ credibility.
