Video taken from Sam R. Hall article at the Neshoba Fair. (This one I did steal, Sam.)
Here are the responses to Hall’s questions he sent me AFTER publishing that I had committed a crime.
Here are my replies to Hall:
1. Did you or anyone involved with that interview tell Fielder to lie?
No. You can hear it for yourself at Gotnews.com.
2. You have said in Twitter and other places that you paid for the interview. Was the amount $2,000? If not, how much?
No, I paid for the text messages, not the story. I don’t disclose how much I pay sources because I don’t want to create a market with clear prices for information. Every negotiation is a case by case. However your question flatters me.
3. Where did the money come from? Was it from you or your GotNews.com site? Or was it from another source?
I paid Fielder cash, just like the Cochran campaign. I will be 1099ing him through Gotnews.com.
4. There have been credible claims that someone with the McDaniel campaign facilitated the interview, helped raise the money and/or shopped the interview to other organizations after it was made. Did you work or coordinate with anyone from the McDaniel campaign on this interview?
So what if I did? So what if I didn’t?
Attorney General Jim Hood appears to have libeled me twice today with his false claims.
I expect a full retraction and apology. He’ll be hearing from my lawyer.
