Joy Villa, the 31-year-old singer who rose to fame in Republican circles this year by wearing a “Make America Great Again” dress to the 2017 Grammy Awards, has filed a sexual assault complaint against former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, according to Fox News.
The complaint, which Villa filed with the Washington Metropolitan Police Department, alleges Lewandowski slapped her rear end twice at a private party at the Trump International Hotel last month.
Politico‘s Annie Karni first reported on the allegation on December 22nd. In her article, Karni noted Villa’s connection to former Trump adviser Roger Stone, writing: “Villa, who has set up an exploratory committee for a congressional run in Congress last October, is being advised by another Trump loyalist, Roger Stone.”
After the story broke, Stone took to Instagram to trash Lewandowski. Stone told a user who questioned Villa’s story and motives that “Corey is a piece of human excrement who must be sent to jail. If I was you I keep my mouth shut because you might get your own head smashed in”:

Stone has had a fiery feud with Lewandowski for quite some time now. During the presidential race, the two political operatives and their allies struggled for control over the management of the Trump campaign.
Stone left the Trump campaign in August of 2015 in what Business Insider called part of a “civil war,” and has subsequently trashed Lewandowski as “a pimple on the ass of history,” among other insults.
