On April 17, 2017, WeSearchr Vice President Pax Dickinson abruptly resigned from the company, just days after the company consummated its venture capital funding. After his resignation, Mr. Dickinson has continued to maintain possession and control over some of the company’s properties, passwords, and credentials. WeSearchr expects to have its website and platforms up and running within a day, and has asked Mr. Dickinson to turn over such material.
WeSearchr has possession of all of the bounty funds that it collected for its active projects and will pay out those bounties that have been funded in the ordinary course.
Since Mr. Dickinson’s abrupt resignation, the company has transitioned to more sustainable technology, that is more efficient and better suited to the company’s business plan.
Mr. Dickinson’s resignation is separate from the product development of FreeStartr, which is a new kind of crowdfunding site that is anticipated to go live in July and is in production.
The company’s policy, as well as legal obligations binding upon it as well as Mr. Dickinson, is to refrain from public disclosure or shit talking. The community’s confidence in the company’s commitment to integrity, discretion, and confidentiality is paramount to the short-term hassle of having to hack around Mr. Dickinson’s sudden abandonment of the company.
We will provide additional operational updates in the coming few days as we return to normalcy.
