A video obtained by Gotnews.com shows U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu bragging about living in Capitol Hill in 2001 and calling herself a “resident here in the district” on the Senate floor.
Here’s a transcript of Landrieu’s remarks:
Because of the great support and feedback I’ve gotten from a wide variety of people — the elected leaders as well as just friends and neighbors of mine as a resident here in the district and living here actually on Capitol Hill — the importance of the recreational opportunities of children of the district, to enhance those recreational opportunities to be commensurate with the surrounding suburbs.
The video, which was first found by Phil Kerpen, is but another example of the embattled U.S. Senator lying about her residency.
